NEOX Smart Solutions Successfully Implements Hungary’s Second bGrid Smart Sensor System at Visual Europe Group’s New Headquarters

Budapest, 13 May 2025 – NEOX Smart Solutions (www.neox.hu) has successfully implemented Hungary’s second bGrid (www.bgrid.com) intelligent sensor system at the newly inaugurated headquarters of Visual Europe Group in Fót. This cutting-edge solution offers real-time insights into the building’s environmental and occupancy parameters – such as temperature, humidity, CO₂ level, and space utilization. Based on the data, fine-tuned heating and cooling operations have already resulted in significant cost savings, while continuously monitored wellbeing metrics help align the work environment with user needs. As a result, employee comfort and operational efficiency have improved, while operating costs remain well-controlled.

Data-Driven Operations and Optimized Energy Use

The approximately 3,000 m² headquarters – nominated for the “Office of the Year” award – opened in early 2025 and provides a modern working environment for about 100 employees. The bGrid sensor network installed by NEOX continuously monitors key indicators like temperature and occupancy. The European-developed multifunctional sensors deliver detailed, real-time data for facility operations, enabling targeted interventions to optimize energy consumption – especially in heating and cooling. The result of this data-driven operation is tangible energy savings and long-term reduction in operating costs – all while maintaining expected levels of comfort.

"Thanks to the bGrid sensor network, we’ve achieved an entirely new level of transparency in our building operation and visibility into how our building functions – from space utilization to air quality. As a result, we can control heating and cooling more precisely, which has already brought measurable savings and is expected to reduce our operational costs in the long term. At the same time, we’ve created a more pleasant working environment for our colleagues – in a sustainable way,” highlighted Szabolcs Botond, CEO of Visual Europe Group.

Supporting Employee Wellbeing with Real-Time Data

The bGrid system not only gathers data on energy efficiency, but also tracks factors that affect employee wellbeing – including CO₂ levels, humidity, temperature, and light intensity. By monitoring these, the office space can flexibly and automatically adapt to occupancy levels. For example, in underused areas, the system reduces lighting or ventilation, while in full meeting rooms it increases fresh air supply or adjusts temperature for comfort. This dynamic environment not only enhances day-to-day experiences, but also measurably boosts productivity.

"The new headquarters of Visual Europe Group is a prime example of how modern sensor technology can simultaneously serve energy efficiency and employee wellbeing. We are proud to have delivered Hungary’s second bGrid system together with the NEOX team – the first being implemented at MOL Campus. We believe that data-driven building management is the key to both sustainability and long-term business advantage,” said Péter Varga, CEO of NEOX Smart Solutions.
